DAVIE, Fla. - Floridant -- KALIS, KLEIMAN & WOLFE is pleased to announce the addition of Avi C. Shoham as their newest Associate.

Avi is an experienced civil attorney with an extensive background in the business and legal sectors. A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Shoham obtained his B.A. in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland in 2003 before earning his law degree from the Widener University School of Law, in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2007.

He worked for several years as a shareholder in his family's business. After relocating to South Florida in 2015, Avi gained admission to the Florida Bar and commenced his legal career, working at a boutique personal injury and criminal defense firm and a property insurance litigation firm. Prior to joining KALIS, KLEIMAN & WOLFE in 2023, Mr. Shoham spent 5+ years as a Senior Associate Attorney at a civil litigation firm in Miami, concentrating his practice primarily in the areas of admiralty and maritime law, where he represented the world's largest cruise lines in civil litigation.
