MIAMI, Nov. 25, 2024 ~ YoungArts, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing young artists, has announced the winners of their 2025 YoungArts awards. This prestigious award recognizes over 800 talented young artists from across the country, highlighting the next generation of rising stars.
The selection process for these awards is highly competitive, with applicants submitting their work for review by panels of esteemed artists in their respective disciplines. This year, the winners were chosen from a pool of nearly 11,000 applicants across 10 artistic categories including classical music, dance, design, film, jazz, photography, theater, visual arts, voice and writing.
All of the winners are between the ages of 15-18 or in grades 10-12 and a complete list can be found on youngarts.org/winners. These young artists have demonstrated exceptional technique and a strong sense of artistry in their craft. As a reward for their hard work and dedication to their art form, each winner will receive a monetary award of $250.

In addition to this recognition and financial support, YoungArts award winners are also eligible for exclusive creative and professional development opportunities throughout their careers. This includes microgrants and financial awards as well as presentation opportunities in collaboration with major venues and cultural partners nationwide.
One such opportunity is the chance to participate in YoungArts Labs - all-expenses-paid learning intensives with renowned artists in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville.
Those who have been recognized with distinction as YoungArts award winners will also be invited to attend National YoungArts Week in Miami from January 5-12, 2025. During this week-long event, participants will have the chance to showcase their work and compete for cash awards up to $10,000. They will also have access to interdisciplinary classes and workshops as well as mentorship from leading artists in their fields.
Some notable artists who will be mentoring these young talents include ballerina Misty Copeland, dance artists Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Reiner, actress Lorna Courtney, multidisciplinary artist Brian Ellison, and National Bestselling Author and Filmmaker Abigail Hing Wen.
