CLEARWATER, Fla. - Floridant -- Altruistic Academy is teaming up with The Big Red Bus to host a community blood drive on Thursday, May 8, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the academy's downtown Clearwater campus. This life-saving event invites students, faculty, and residents to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life.
As a leading beauty and medical school, Altruistic Academy is deeply connected to the importance of blood donation through its phlebotomy program, which trains students in essential blood-drawing techniques for careers in healthcare. Partnering with The Big Red Bus, a trusted name in mobile blood donations, aligns perfectly with the academy's mission to support community wellness and public health. Every blood donation will go directly toward saving lives in local hospitals.
