TAMPA, Fla. - Floridant -- The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts (GFA) proudly announced the winners of its 55th annual event, held on March 1-2 in downtown Tampa. This year's Best of Show Award was presented to Helen Gotlib for their outstanding printmaking piece, August Sun. The prestigious Raymond James Financial Best of Show Award includes a $15,000 cash prize, recognizing the artist's exceptional talent and contribution to the festival.
Gotlib uses a small press and raw commercial materials to render large print-based images. The creation of her work is followed through with a style of presentation that brings it out of the 1600s and into today's white wall art spaces.
In addition to the Best of Show award, the festival awarded the following honors:
The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts remains one of Tampa's most anticipated cultural events. It draws thousands of visitors annually to celebrate creativity and innovation across various artistic disciplines. About Gasparilla Festival of the Arts (GFA)
Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to producing an annual, premier juried outdoor art festival for the enjoyment and education of patrons, artists, and guests and to enhance the Tampa Bay area's cultural arts. The non-profit organization relies on support from sponsorships, on-site retail sales, and corporate and individual gifts to fund its programs and events.

- Art Keeble Memorial Award of Merit: David Figueroa, Sculpture, Internal Structures III – ($5,000 prize)
- Roddy Brownlee Reed Award of Artistic Excellence: Clifton Henri, Photography, Point & Shoot – ($4,000 prize)
- Tony Eitharong 50th Anniversary Award: Marilyn Endres and Eucled Moore, Wood, Beaded Vase with Glass Beads –($2,000 prize)
