About Dr. Cambize Shahrdar
Dr. Shahrdar is a partner in The Orthopaedic Clinic in Shreveport, LA where he introduced the innovative anterior total hip replacement procedure to Northwest Louisiana. An alumnus of the University of Miami School of Medicine, he completed an internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport where he served as chief resident. Throughout his career, Dr. Shahrdar has authored and coauthored numerous scientific papers and participated in presentations at clinical meetings. He has also actively taught many orthopaedic residents and other practicing surgeons the anterior approach to hip replacement as well as the gap balancing technique in knee replacement surgery. Dr. Shahrdar is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American College of Surgeons.
