The perfect opportunity for citizens of Mount Dora Florida to hear firsthand from the 2024 Mayoral Candidates. Questions can be submitted via email or on Facebook Messenger.
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Floridant -- The 2024 Mount Dora Mayoral Forum will be in the Mount Dora Community Building, on Thursday, October 17th, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Doors open to the public at 5:30 pm. The forum is sponsored by The Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Visit Mount Dora, Inc, and Garden Gate LPT Realty.
Candidates for Mayor: Cathy Hoechst and James Homich have agreed to participate, with Moderator Christopher Heath, who is the chief elections administrator for the Orange County supervisor of elections.
The public may submit questions via email to admin@mountdora.com before midnight on Wednesday, October 16th, to be considered. Questions will be taken from the live audience between 5:30 and 6:15 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, via the supplied Question Card. Candidates will be available for a short meet and greet between 5:30 & 6:15 pm.

The forum will be live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/MountDoraCandidates. Individuals unable to attend in person are encouraged to watch the forum there. Questions received on the evening of Oct. 17th via this event page will not be considered.
